You may pay for your massage with cash, check or credit card; however, clinic personnel will not be able to make change for you.

• Student Massage payments are handled by the Clinic Supervisor.
• Professional Massage payments are handled by your Massage Therapist.

If you wish, you may consider giving a tip directly to your therapist.

AKS charges a Standard Rate for massages received from student interns. Clients must reserve sessions with a major credit card. However, payment will not be expected until after the session. If necessary, clients must cancel their session at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full amount.

Our professional CMTs charge differing rates depending upon their certifications, training, and experience, as well as the type of bodywork mutually agreed upon. Prices also depend on session length.

Note that we typically will not honor any requests for a particular student, since this represents a learning environment and each student therapist has unique skills and talents to offer. Working with a different student each time will also allow you to experience a wider range of possibilities.

AKS also offers the public clinic (Suite 104) and main classroom facilities (Suite 208) to all who wish to use AKS Suites for non-AKS classes or lectures. We welcome classes and groups to use the school space. It is important to our "community of therapies" to reach many audiences. We are happy that folks choose AKS as a center for education.

AKS space can be rented by the day or the hour depending upon availability. Rental entitles the user to the space and reasonable use of educational equipment. AKS will list the name of the lecture/class and the contact for registration on our website event calendar, but will provide no additional registration/advertising support.

As the time is limited due to school and clinic needs, we will continue to monitor dates and limit use. Our primary responsibility is to our students for weekend "Exposure Lectures", FirstAid/CPR, Supervised Massage, and AKS Student Clinic. Since AKS rental prices are well below local market rates, AKS expects renters to offer a special price to current AKS students who may wish to sign up for their classes.

Arrangements for Continuing Education Classes that are to be promoted, advertised, and registered by AKS staff may be made on a percentage basis with a minimum fee reflecting the basic rental price.

Renters are expected to remove advertising materials, food, all trash, and to return space to "classroom arrangement." If the renter wishes to have the space set up for their use, there will be separate charges. Renter must make arrangements for entry and lockup.

AKS will make a contract available to you under separate cover.

AKS also offers space and services on a per session / room / table basis to Certified Massage Therapists and other licensed health care practitioners.
